Michael and Lena Kuzin and the church he pastors in Cherkasy, Ukraine are making enormous sacrifices to care for the onslaught of refugees displaced by the relentless Russian bombing. Their resources are significantly depleted by church members who've fled the country and the men who've been called up to fight in the war. They don't have the money to buy the food and supplies they need for the refugees, for their health care, nor for site rental for their children's summer camps. Last year 1on1 Church paid the rental and a number of children were saved. They have personally donated the beds out of their home to the refugees and are themselves sleeping on pallets. Michael and Lena have taken in and adopted four children whose parents were killed in the bombing and led each of them to the LORD. The most recent was a baby, which they adopted after the videos shown below.

Thousands of refugees are moving from the south to central and western Ukraine because of the big flood that was caused by Russians who destroyed hydroelectric dam using explosives. We pray every day of Ukrainian people from there who live on the temporary occupied territories as they don't even have a chance to escape from there. Still we are getting ready to be open for those who is going to come to our city. I asked those two families who were still living in our shelter to look for rental apartments, as they already had much enough time to save some money to pay for a rental apartment in our city and start living separate from us. Still 22 other people will remain stay in our shelter as they are those who are not able to work and pay for rent - handicaps, pensioners, kids. So we are getting ready to welcome about 20 more people this month.

Pastor Steve Schwambach, 1on1 Church, has established an easy way for us to contribute to Pastor Kuzin and First Baptist Church, Churkasy, Ukraine. "We have set up a special account with a company called, "Wise" that specializes in processing Ukraine donations and gets the money to them immediately. I've created a QR Code our BMA family can use and also an online giving option. 1on1 Church would cover all exchange and processing fees, which means 100% of everything our BMA brothers and sisters give would go directly to the ones who most need it. Thank you for considering supporting this vital mission!"
