- APPLICATION FOR MINISTERIAL CREDENTIALS-
The Bethel Ministerial Association (BMA) is a fellowship of like-minded ministers committed to the truth of God’s Word and the mission of the Gospel. We value meaningful fellowship, honest dialogue, and mutual encouragement as we sharpen one another for more effective ministry.
Over the years, many have chosen to unite with us through licensure or ordination, finding strength in shared doctrine, accountability, and spiritual covering. BMA exists to support and encourage those sincerely pursuing a biblically grounded, Spirit-led ministry.
If you share our heart and values, we invite you to explore affiliation with us. Thank you for your interest—and may God bless you as you continue in His calling.

Levels of membership within the bma
A local license is issued to a novice or beginner in ministry. At this level, the individual is in a learning and development phase, studying both ministry and its administration. The licensed person serves under the tutelage and direction of the local pastor, receiving guidance, instruction, and practical experience. Authority is limited, and the emphasis is on preparation rather than independent leadership.
A general license authorizes an individual to represent the corporation as an authorized minister. At this level, the person may serve a local congregation or function as an associate to a local pastor. The individual is considered advanced enough to carry on an independent ministry, but still requires the supervision of an ordained minister. This level reflects growing responsibility, trust, and ministerial competence.
An ordained minister is formally recognized as a seasoned, trained, and experienced minister. This category applies to pastors of local assemblies or missionary evangelists who are responsible for their ministry’s livelihood and leadership. An ordained minister is authorized to perform weddings and funerals, administer communion and baptisms, recognize members of the local assembly, and perform infant dedications. This level represents full ministerial authority and official recognition.
